Tabulated pump (TL)#
Block appearance in REPEAT VISION#
simplified version of centrifugal pump without reference data and shaft angular velocity
The block describes the operation of the pump according to a given Q-H characteristic.
Pump pressure increment is described by the formula (1):
where:
\(\Delta H_{ref}(q)\) - pressure characteristic is determined by linear interpolation by vectors of volumetric flow rate and head, [m];
\(\rho\) - fluid density, [kg/m\(^3\)];
g - free fall acceleration, [m/s\(^2\)].
Volumetric flow rate is defined as (2):
where \(\dot{m}\) - mass flow rate of liquid, [kg/s].
Law of conservation of energy (3):
where \(P_{hydro}\)=\(\Delta p \cdot \frac{\dot{m}}{\rho}\)
