Single parameter nonlinear function#

block

Block appearance in REPEAT VISION#

 The Single parameter nonlinear function block returns the value of the function f=y(x)for the value of X given to the Input.

 The type of function is determined by linear interpolation of user-defined points in the arrays as follows (1) :

(1)#\[ \begin{align}\begin{aligned} f_{i}=y_{i}(x_{i})\\X\:=\:[x_1\:,\:x_2\:,\:...\:,\:x_m]\\Y\:=\:[y_1\:,\:y_2\:,\:...\:,\:y_n] \end{aligned}\end{align} \]

 When a value outside the X range is input to the input, the corresponding Y extreme value is output to the output (2) :

(2)#\[ \begin{align}\begin{aligned} in(t)\:\leq\:x_1\:,\:\longrightarrow\:out(t)\:=\:y_1\\in(t)\:\geq\:x_m\:,\:\longrightarrow\:out(t)\:=\:y_n \end{aligned}\end{align} \]
