Velocity Head#

block

Block appearance in REPEAT VISION#

 The force effect of the atmosphere on the aircraft is characterized by the velocity head (1) :

(1)#\[q=\frac{\rho \cdot \nu^2}{2}\]

where:

 \( ho\) - mass density of air, [kg/m\(^3\)] which is significant at altitudes up to 25,000 - 30,000 [m]. At altitudes greater than 30,000 [m], it is advisable to take into account the influence of the atmosphere only when calculating the long-term flight of an AD (aerial device) - a rocket plane or an Earth satellite;

 \( u\) - AD speed, [m/s].
