Wind Speed Dependent on Altitude#
Block appearance in REPEAT VISION#
The block describes a model of wind speed as a function of altitude. The following is supplied to the block input:
port 1 - matrix of guide cosines, DCM;
port 2 - height, [m];
port 3 - wind direction angle, [rad].
The wind profile is represented by a logarithmic function, the wind speed depends on the AD height. Stiffness \(z_0\) is assumed to be 0.5 [m], i.e. this is the height at which the wind speed is minimal.
