Two-phase fluid#

 The Two-phase fluid library is a specialized set of components for developing hydraulic systems of various purposes and topologies, taking into account the phase transition of the coolant in technological processes.

 It includes blocks for modeling:

  • Hydraulic resistance;

  • Pumps;

  • Valves;

  • Gate valve;

  • Pipelines;

  • Capacities;

  • Heat exchangers.

 The library components allow the development of zero- and one-dimensional (0D/1D) models and the evaluation of the processes occurring in them in stationary and non-stationary modes.

 The library allows you to model:

  1. Cooling systems with phase change of coolant;

  2. Air conditioning systems and refrigeration units;

  3. Boiling and condensation processes in technological equipment;

  4. Steam and steam condensate systems.

 The Two-phase fluid library integrates with multidisciplinary models developed using the Automation and Heat exchange libraries through specialized ports. This provides a comprehensive approach to modeling hydraulic systems taking into account thermal processes, and also allows for the implementation and verification of control system algorithms.
