Electric Drive#

The Electric Drive library implements an approach to modeling power systems that is focused on assembly speed and overall performance assessment, rather than on detailed analysis of transient processes in semiconductors.

The key feature of the section is the use of unified energy ports. This architecture implies that the converter, Battery, or Direct-current motor block each has a single power port, allowing the elements to be connected in series with a single connection that transfers all the necessary energy.

To simulate the operation of asynchronous machines, the power source is modeled by blocks from the Automation section (for example, Sinusoidal wave generator to simulate an AC source).
