Relay plus with variable deadband and hysteresis#

block

Block appearance in REPEAT VISION#

 The Relay plus with variable deadband and hysteresis block is a submodel with a relay algorithm with variable hysteresis (variable return area) and variable deadband. Hysteresis and deadband are set by block input signals.

 Block output signal is non-negative, and the relay operates only when the input signal is positive (otherwise the output is zero). The block is described by the equation:

  • If y(t-∆t) < 1 (1)

(1)#\[\begin{split} y =\begin{cases}0 , & \ {\ \ \ \ \ \ x}_0-\frac{x_2}{2}<\frac{{-x}_1}{2}\\1,& {\ \ \ \ \ \ \frac{{x}_1}{2}\le x}_0-\frac{x_2}{2}\end{cases} \end{split}\]
  • If y(t-∆t) ≥ 1 (2)

(2)#\[\begin{split} y =\begin{cases}0 , & \ {\ \ \ \ \ \ x}_0+\frac{x_2}{2}<\frac{{-x}_1}{2}\\1,& {\ \ \ \ \ \ \frac{{x}_1}{2}\le x}_0+\frac{x_2}{2}\end{cases} \end{split}\]

where:

 \(t\) – current integration step;

 \((t-∆t)\) – previous integration step.
