Tabulated pump (TPF)#
Block appearance in REPEAT VISION#
The Tabulated pump (TPF) block describes the operation of a pump according to a given Q-H characteristic in a two-phase hydraulic network.
Law of Conservation of Mass (1) :
where:
\(\dot m_A\) – mass flow rate at the input, [kg/s];
\(\dot m_B\) – mass flow rate at the outlet, [kg/s].
Law of conservation of energy (2) :
where:
\(\phi_A\) - energy flow at the input, [W];
\(\phi_B\) - energy flow at the output, [W].
\(\phi_{rab}\) – power transferred to the environment, [W]. (3) :
where:
\(\Delta p\) - pressure drop across the pump, [Pa];
\( ho\) - density of the medium, [kg/m\(^3\)].
If the mode without taking into account the pump operation is selected - \(\phi_{rab}=0\).
Differential pressure (4) :
where:
\(\Delta H_{ref}\) – pump pressure (determined by linear interpolation of the volumetric flow rate and pressure vectors), [m];
\(g\) – acceleration due to gravity, [m/s\(^2\)].
