Recycle (MF)#

block

Block appearance in REPEAT VISION#

 The Recycle (MF) block allows modeling iterative cycles in process flow diagrams where the output flow is directed back into the apparatus, for example:

  • Reverse flow in rectification;

  • Solvent recycling in absorption.

 Law of conservation of mass (1) :

(1)#\[\dot m_1+\dot m_2=0\]

where:

 \(\dot m_1\) – mass flow rate of the medium at the inlet, [kg/s];

 \(\dot m_2\) – mass flow rate of the medium at the outlet, [kg/s].

 Law of conservation of energy (2) :

(2)#\[\phi_1 + \phi_2=0\]

where:

 \(\phi_1\) – energy flow at the input, [W];

 \(\phi_2\) – output energy flow, [W].
