Two parameters nonlinear function#

block

Block appearance in REPEAT VISION#

Block Two parameters nonlinear function returns to the output the value of the function \(z=f(x,y)\), obtained by linear interpolation in the user-defined range of values of variables x,y,z, based on the received input signals. Input 1 corresponds to X-axis signal, and input 2 corresponds to the Y-axis signal.

The points for interpolation are defined by the user in the following form:

  • Points on the x-axis: \([x_1\:,\:x_2\:,...,\:x_m]\)

  • Points on the y-axis: \([y_1\:,\:y_2\:,...,\:y_m]\)

  • Points on the z-axis: \(\left[\begin{matrix}z_{1\:,\:1}&\cdots &z_{1\:,\:n}\\ \vdots &\ddots &\vdots \\ z_{m\:,\:1}&\cdots &z_{m\:,\:n}\end{matrix} \right]\)

The line is interpolated by points, and the coordinate of the point on the Z axis is selected from the main diagonal of the matrix of Z point values based on the X and Y point numbers. Thus, for example, the coordinates \(x_1\:,\:y_1\) corresponds to the coordinate \(z_{1\:,\:1}\).

When the point given by the input signals goes beyond the area defined by the parameter vectors, the output value takes the corresponding extreme value.
