Mutual inductance#

block

Block appearance in REPEAT VISION#

 The Mutual inductance block is a model of a system consisting of two inductively coupled windings. Voltages on windings are determined based on the following system of equations (1):

(1)#\[U_1=I_1\cdot R_1+L_1\cdot \frac{∆I_1}{∆t}+M\cdot \frac{∆I_2}{∆t}; U_2=I_2\cdot R_2+L_2\cdot \frac{∆I_2}{∆t}+M\cdot \frac{∆I_1}{∆t}. \]

where:

 \(U_1\), \(U_2\) - voltages of the first and second windings, [V];

 \(I_1\), \(I_2\) - currents of the first and second windings, [A];

 \(R_1\), \(R_2\) - active resistances of the first and second windings, [Ohm];

 \(L_1\), \(L_2\) - inductances of the first and second winding, [H];

 M - mutual inductance of the first and second windings, [H], is defined as (2):

(2)#\[ M=k\cdot \sqrt {L_1\cdot L_2 }, \]

where the k - coefficient of windings coupling (can take values in range (-1;1))
