Flow rate sensor (TPF)#
Block appearance in REPEAT VISION#
The Flow rate sensor (TPF) unit measures mass flow and energy flow in a two-phase hydraulic network. The sensor is ideal – the pressure and temperature of the medium passing through it remain unchanged.
Note
The sensor is connected in series to a two-phase hydraulic network;
The sign of the flows depends on the connection of the sensor: when the flow is from the input port to the output port, the sign of the flows is positive, from the output port to the input port, it is negative.
One sensor can operate in several modes:
Measure only mass flow or only energy flow;
Measure both parameters simultaneously.
Hint
After adding the sensor to the circuit, use the appropriate switches to configure it, including the parameters to be measured.
