Converter of rotational motion to translational motion#
Block appearance in REPEAT VISION#
Converter of rotational motion to translational motion block converts theforce torque and angular velocity of the shaft rotation into tangentialforce and velocity based on the length of the force arm (shaft radius).The block can be connected to both force moment and angular velocity source blocks.
The direction of shaft rotation is controlled by Clockwise rotation corresponds to positive velocity field (1):
where
\(𝐹\) – tangential force, [N];
\(𝑇\) – force moment, [N \(\cdot \)m];
\(𝑅\) – Shaft radius, [m];
\(𝜔\) – shaft rotation speed, [\(\frac{rad}{s}\)];
\(𝑣\) – tangential speed, [m/s].
