Check Discrete Gradient#
Block appearance in REPEAT VISION#
The Check Discrete Gradient block checks each signal element and determines whether the absolute value of the difference between consecutive values of the element is less than the specified value. The block then performs an assertion after the comparison. One can specify a gradient value (1 by default) by adjusting the parameter Maximum Gradient. If the input signal difference is less than the absolute value Maximum Gradient`, the statement is true (1) and the block performs nothing. If not, the block stops the simulation and returns a default error message.
