Electrocity#
The Electrocity library is a specialized set of components for modeling electric power systems of various topologies. It allows creating models for studying steady-state (stationary) modes and electromechanical transient processes (for example, load surges, as well as starts and self-starts of powerful engines). The library block models are implemented in a single-line design, the calculation of network mode parameters is carried out in effective values.
Electrocity includes blocks for modeling:
Sources (IPB, synchronous generator);
Loads (static and dynamic characteristics of loads, asynchronous electric motor);
Electrical equipment (PTL, switching devices, transformers of various configurations);
Power converters.
For some units, there is the option to select a standard or custom configuration, which reduces the time it takes to develop a model when using standard equipment.
The library allows you to model:
Systems of generation, transmission, distribution and consumption of electrical energy;
Power electronics systems.
For models of this library the tool Calculation of short-circuit currents is available, which allows you to determine the magnitude of the current SC of a given type in the specified mode for all nodes of the circuit.
The Electrocity library integrates with multidisciplinary models developed using the Automation and Mechanics libraries through specialized ports. This provides a comprehensive approach to modeling electromechanical systems and allows the implementation and testing of control system algorithms.
