Electronics#

 The Electronics library is a specialized set of components for modeling electrical and electric power systems of various topologies. It allows creating models for studying both steady-state (stationary) modes and a wide range of transient processes (electromechanical and electromagnetic). For example, using the library makes it possible to study such phenomena as switching overvoltages, lightning strikes, short circuits, asymmetric modes, etc. The calculation of the model parameters is carried out in instantaneous values.

 In addition to the simplest elements of an electrical circuit (Resistor, Inductor, Capacitor, current and voltage sources), the library includes blocks for modeling electrical equipment (transformers with different numbers of phases and windings, single- and three-phase PTL, electrical machines), power converters (rectifiers, inverters and, including, nonlinear models of electronic components), as well as blocks for measuring mode parameters.

 The library allows you to model:

  1. Systems of generation, transmission and distribution of electric energy;

  2. Power electronics systems;

  3. Electric drives.

 The Electronics library integrates with multidisciplinary models developed using the Automation and Mechanics libraries through specialized ports. This provides a comprehensive approach to modeling electromechanical systems and allows the implementation and testing of control system algorithms.
