Ideal pressure source (P)#
Block appearance in REPEAT VISION#
The Ideal pressure source (P) unit simulates pressure differential between its ports independent of fluid flow.
If the user indicates a negative differential value, the unit simulates additional losses in the area, while its main difference from any types of local resistances remains the independence of the value of this difference from the flow rate.
To set the pressure at the start and end points of the calculation pattern it is necessary to use the Reservoir unit, which defines the pressure value at the point to which this unit is connected.”
