Pressure, temperature and specific internal energy meter (TPF)#

block

Block appearance in REPEAT VISION#

 The Pressure, temperature and specific internal energy meter (TPF) block allows you to measure the values of pressure, temperature and internal energy in the nodes of a two-phase hydraulic network, or the pressure difference (temperature, internal energy) between two points of this network.

 The absolute sensor has 1 port for connection to a pressure (temperature, internal energy) control point and measures the value of the parameter in this node.

  • \(P=P_{in}\), where \(P_{in}\) is the excess or absolute (depending on the selected parameter in the Pressure type property) pressure in the node connected to the input port of the block, [Pa];

  • \(T=T_{in}\), where \(T_{in}\) is the temperature in the node connected to the input port of the block, [℃];

  • \(u=u_{in}\), where \(u_{in}\) is the specific internal energy in the node connected to the input port of the block, [J/kg].

 The differential sensor has 2 ports for connection to pressure control points (1) (temperature (2), internal energy (3)) and measures the change in parameters between these points.

(1)#\[\Delta P=P_{вх}-P_{вых}\]

where:

 \(P_{in}\) – pressure in the node connected to the input port, [Pa];

 \(P_{out}\) – pressure in the node connected to the output port, [Pa].

(2)#\[\Delta T=T_{вх}-T_{вых}\]

where:

 \(T_{in}\) – temperature in the node connected to the input port, [℃];

 \(T_{out}\) – temperature in the node connected to the output port, [℃].

(3)#\[\Delta u=u_{вх}-u_{вых}\]

where:

\(u_{in}\) – specific internal energy in the node connected to the input port, [J/kg];

 \(u_{out}\) – specific internal energy in the node connected to the output port, [J/kg].

Note

One sensor can operate in several modes:

  • Measure only pressure, only temperature, or only specific internal energy;

  • Simultaneously measure combinations of available parameters.

Hint

After adding the sensor to the circuit, use the appropriate switches to configure it, including the parameters to be measured.
