PID controller with pulse output#
Block appearance in REPEAT VISION#
The PID controller with pulse output block implements a mathematical model of a controller consisting of proportional, integrating and differentiating links, which uses a pulse-width modulation method to generate a control signal.
The input signal for PID controller is a control error calculated as difference between the input signal of the block and feedback link signal with time constant T\(_{feedback}\).
In order to form the output signal of the block, a relay with a specified dead band dx is used.
The output signal of the block is a sequence of pulses with amplitude 1 of different duration.
