Compressor (MF)#

block

Block appearance in REPEAT VISION#

 The Compressor (MF) block simulates the operation of a compressor according to specified characteristics.

 Law of conservation of mass (1) :

(1)#\[\dot m_1+\dot m_2=0\]

where:

 \(\dot m_1\) – mass flow rate of the medium at the inlet, [kg/s];

 \(\dot m_2\) – mass flow rate of the medium at the outlet, [kg/s].

 Law of conservation of energy (2) :

(2)#\[\phi_1 + \phi_2 + P_{к}=0\]

where:

 \(\phi_1\) – energy flow at the input, [W];

 \(\phi_2\) – output energy flow, [W];

 \(P_{k}\) – power transmitted to the medium, [W].

 Calculation of pressure ratio (3) :

(3)#\[\frac{P_2}{P_1}=[\frac{H_p}{\frac{n}{n-1}\cdot \frac{Z \cdot R \cdot T}{M}}+1]^{\frac{n}{n-1}}\]

where:

 \(H_p\) – polytropic pressure, [J/kg];

 \(n\) – polytropic index;

 \(R\) – universal gas constant, [\(\frac{kJ}{kmol \cdot K}\)];

 \(T\) – temperature of the medium at the inlet, [K];

 \(M\) – molar mass, [\(\frac{kg}{kmol}\)].
