Reference (rotational)#
Block appearance in REPEAT VISION#
Reference (rotational) block models a rigid connection to a fixed zero reference node that enforces zero angular velocity of any connected rotational components.
The angular velocity at the reference point is always zero (1) :
where \(\omega (t)\) – is angular velocity in [rad/s].
All rotational ports rigidly tied to the reference frame should be connected to this block.
Important
Do not additionally connect Rotary moment of inertia and Rotary moment of inertia with friction (or any other element already rigidly referenced to the frame) to zero reference — otherwise its angular velocity will be forced to zero.
