Three-phase two winding free configurable transformer#
Block appearance in REPEAT VISION#
The Three-phase two winding free configurable transformer block is a model of a three phase transformer assembled from three single phase transformers.
An important feature of this model is the ability to set an arbitrary configuration of the connection of the transformer windings.
Setting model parameters is possible in three ways:
SI system. In this case, parameters of the primary and secondary windings are set separately: rated phase voltages, [V], resistance, [Ohm] and inductance, [H].
Important
The transformation ratio is calculated from phase voltages.
If primary and secondary windings are connected in the same circuit, then the ratio of phase voltages will be equal to the ratio of linear. In this case, if circuits are different, it is necessary to convert from linear to phase values. An example of such conversion is given in the table below.

K=\(\frac{U_{2ном Ф}}{U_{1ном Ф}}\)=\(\frac{U_{2ном}}{\sqrt {3}}\cdot \frac{\sqrt {3}}{U_{1ном}}=\frac{U_{2ном}}{U_{1ном}}\) |

K=\(\frac{U_{2ном Ф}}{U_{1ном Ф}}\)=\(\frac{U_{2ном}}{\sqrt {3}}\cdot \frac{1}{U_{1ном}}=\frac{U_{2ном}}{\sqrt {3} \cdot U_{1ном}}\) |
Star-Triangle II |
K=\(\frac{U_{2ном Ф}}{U_{1ном Ф}}\)=\(\frac{U_{2ном}}{\sqrt {3}}\cdot \frac{1}{U_{1ном}}=\frac{U_{2ном}}{\sqrt {3} \cdot U_{1ном}}\) |
Relative units. The calculation procedure for this case is described in the corresponding article.
Important
Additional parameters have been entered in this block: base strains.
They are used to calculate basic values when transferring from relative units to SI system. The strains specified in winding parameters shall be phase (or linear in case of the same methods of connection of the primary and secondary windings), since they are used to calculate the transformation ratios.
Catalog data. The calculation procedure for this case is described in the article.
Important
Additional parameters have been entered in this block: base strains.
They are used to calculate basic values when transferring from relative units (in which the calculation is initially made from catalog parameters) to SI system. The strains specified as nominal shall be phase (or linear in case of the same methods of connection of the primary and secondary windings), since they are used to calculate the transformation ratios.
