Rotary damper#

block

Block appearance in REPEAT VISION#

 The block implements a mathematical model of an ideal viscous damper with a constant damping coefficient described by the following equation (1):

(1)#\[ T(t)=D\cdot(\omega_R(t)-\omega_C(t)), \]

where

 \(T\left(t\right)\) - damping torque, [N\(\cdot\)m];

 \(D\) - damping factor, [N\(\cdot\)m\(\cdot\)s/rad];

 \(\omega_R\left(t\right)\) - angular rate port R, [rad/s];

 \(\omega_C\left(t\right)\) - angular rate port C, [rad/s].
