What versioning system does the platform use#
Description of the adopted versioning system
The platform uses Semantic Versioning, which conveys the meaning of changes through version numbers:
Major release (e.g. 4.0.0): The first digit is updated, meaning a significant amount of new functionality has been added and there may be some backward incompatibility.
Minor release (e.g. 4.1.0): The second digit is updated, meaning new functionality is added without breaking compatibility with previous versions.
Patch (fix) (e.g. 4.1.1): The latest digit is updated, meaning bugs are fixed, but the API remains unchanged, ensuring backward compatibility.
